Our powerful multistrain probiotic formula includes L. bulgaricus, L. acidophilus, and B.bifidum. Together, these probiotics work together to help support healthy gut flora and a balanced digestive system.

A common yogurt starter, L. bulgaricus helps make the GI tract more suitable for the growth of other probiotics while helping to balance microbes in the gut flora!

L. acidophilus is a strain of probiotic found in the human intestine, mouth, and vagina and is important for a healthy microbiome and digestion.

Lastly, B. bifidum bacteria is generally the most common probiotic bacteria found in the human body. Our formula includes 1 Billion CFU of each strain!

While Multidophilus should be promptly refrigerated, our freeze dried dormant probiotic bacteria is formulated to survive and remain viable for short periods of unrefrigerated shipping.

While L. bulgaricus (often used as a starter in yogurt) is intended to help the GI tract be more suitable for the survival and growth of L. acidophilus and B.bifidum, it’s is important to the balance of microbes (bacteria) in the gut flora (microbiome).

L. acidophilus is the primary bacteria of the small intestine while B. bifidum is the major bacteria of the large intestine. The strains of L. acidophilus and B. bifidum used in this product may have been the subject of in-vitro tests to help ensure they are more likely to be implantable, attaching themselves to the intestinal wall and becoming part of the naturally occuring flora.

Multidophilus is formulated with freeze dried dormant probiotic bacteria. Refrigeration should be maintained during storage, especially after opening the bottle. In their freeze dried dormant state probiotic bacteria have a better chance to survive and remain viable during short periods of unrefrigerated shipping. These products are shipped directly from refrigerated storage at the manufacturing facility. Return to refrigeration upon receipt.
