The product aims to neutralize stomach acid while suppressing/blocking the stomach acid from entering the esophagus.

Alginate, is a naturally occurring polysaccharide derived from various species of brown seaweed, like kelp.

It acts as a non-digestible substance that forms a gel-like layer in the stomach when it comes into contact with stomach acid. This gel floats on top of the stomach contents, creating a barrier effect that helps to prevent stomach acid from refluxing back up into the esophagus, which can lead to symptoms like heartburn, regurgitation, and discomfort.

The Sodium Bicarbonate, Potassium Bicarbonate, and D-calcium pantothenate are alkaline, and thus used to help neutralize stomach acid.

We added natural Cane Sugar to help with the bitterness caused by the Alginate.
